On average, 40% of the Ralph Wilson Youth Club operating budget is comprised of philanthropic gifts, to include our major fundraisers. These events are essential to allowing Ralph Wilson Youth Club to provide affordable, safe, and structured programming for the youth of Central Texas. What another fun season we had! RWYC wrapped up another RECORD BREAKING basketball season Saturday afternoon! The 2026 season included participation of 1,361 players on 159 teams. 225 volunteer coaches donated their time to help the youth of Central Texas continually improve their skills throughout the season. Congratulations to all players for their hard work and dedication! Each year, Ralph Wilson Youth Club selects a male and female athlete from the youth basketball league as recipients of the Craig Bukosky Sportsmanship Award. While these players athletic accomplishments are not unworthy of recognition, their sportsmanship and team-first attitude are why they were chosen to receive this year's award.Congratulations to Peyton Knox and Zach Brischke, the 2026 recipients of the Craig Bukosky Sportsmanship Award!Peyton is 12 years old and attends Troy Middle School and has been a part of our league for the past 6 years. Outside of basketball her favorite subject in school is history and one of her favorite hobbies is baking. Zach is 12 years old and attends Bonham Middle School and has also been a part of our league for the past 6 years. Outside of basketball his favorite subjects in school are math and history. We’d like to congratulate our final RWYC Male Athlete of the Week, Malik Omisola. Malik is 10 years old and attends Lakewood Elementary School. ABOUT US

Ralph Wilson Youth Club (RWYC) is a social, educational and recreational facility in Temple, TX. The 47,000 square foot facility offers programming for youth ages 5 – 14. The youth club offers an after-school program for children of Temple Independent School District. The after-school program is also offered to Belton and Academy schools on a limited basis. Beginning late in the 2024 Fall semester after-school program services have been added for Troy ISD and Priority Charter School – Temple.

During the Summer, the youth club offers a full day summer program. The program entails several on site programs such as game rooms, arcade, library, kitchen, fine arts, athletic competitions, and movie showings. The program also includes athletic camps and field trips.

Ralph Wilson Youth Club also offers an athletic program. The program provides youth ages 5 – 12 with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the sports of volleyball and basketball.
